Tyler School of Art - Temple University

The Tyler School of Art at Temple University is one of the nation’s leading schools for art and design. Temple engaged DIGSAU and Arup for strategic planning and subsequent School of Art renovations to focus resources towards Tyler’s vision for community, collaboration, and interdisciplinary interaction.

DIGSAU and Arup began with a comprehensive space assessment of the existing facilities and programs

including studios, classrooms, galleries, and administrative spaces. The study explored current and projected program needs, access and circulation, building capacity, and programmatic adjacencies that

resulted in a phased renovation.

The renovations include newly constructed gallery space, a state-of-the art digital media center, offices,

Classrooms, and community space.
