The Yards Brewing Company recently relocated to a re-purposed warehouse building in Center City Philadelphia to meet increasing production demands and establish a more central urban presence. Seven 50-foot tall outdoor fermentation tanks arrayed along the south side of Spring Garden Street celebrate the city’s industrial history and future. New large openings in the once windowless warehouse make connections to the street and an outdoor beer garden nestled below the outdoor tanks. The indoor tasting room is lined with full-height windows that provide direct views into the 50,000 sf production and bottling area. A mezzanine level houses offices, a control room, a lab, and a private banquet area overlooking the brewery warehouse below.
